Family owned and operated GLS began the summer of 1998 in rural southern Mississippi. Owner Jeremy Howard began mowing a few yards as a way of making some extra income. After that first summer the business grew so rapidly Jeremy decided to abandon his regular job and go full time. After five successful years Jeremy met the lady he would soon marry, sold the business and relocated to Kansas City.
In 2006 GLS Kansas City was born. Originally “Cuttin Edge Lawn Care” the company was rebranded to GreenLawn Services in 2015 and is now widely known as “GLS Lawn & Tree”.
Jeremy lives in Raymore with his wife Carmen and their four sons. David 4, Steven, 3, Robby, 2 and Tylen 2. Giving back to the community, Carmen and Jeremy have been foster parents since 2013. Carmen is a stay at home mom. They are deeply involved in their local church and the foster care community, frequently speaking and organizing foster care training and support events. Jeremy is service oriented and takes great effort to make sure anything they do is done with excellence. Jeremy says, “We greatly value and appreciate our customers. It’s our goal to build lasting relationships and to provide them with the highest quality service available.”
